Ukrainian Lifestyle

Speaking about modern Ukrainian customs and traditions it is necessary to stress that the Ukrainians are proud of their colorful folk culture. They love good food and drink and have a zest for life.

Most Ukrainian middle-class and lower class urban families live in flat in multi-storied buildings; only rather rich people can afford to build cottages either inside or outside the city.

Ukrainians have a deep love of the land. Many families have small country houses, called “dacha”. They are able to grow just about anything in their neat gardens, orchards, and homesteads. Some people grow food only for their own personal consumption. They spend time canning vegetables and making compote from various fruits during the summer in order to make it through the long cold winters. They always have something in their houses to serve guests.

A modern average Ukrainian family has two parents and usually one or two children. At the same time there is a growing number of one-parent families usually headed by a woman rearing a child. Like in many other countries, there are quite a lot of young unmarried people living together and sharing a household. Bringing up a child in Ukraine is very costly now; that is why many couples decided to have only one child, or even no children. Children tend to live with there parents long after they finish school. Sometimes children have to rely on their parents in financial matters as the unemployment rate among the young is very high. A newly married couple often lives with either of their parents because they have no money to buy or to rent a house or a flat of their own. Often one or both grandparents live with their children and help take care of small children. Grandparents play a great role in raising children in Ukraine.

In the village families are usually larger, and the whole family works on the farm (or a patch of land they have) together. Most parents who live in the country want their children to get a higher education, so they send them to study to big cities. After 5 years of studies, the children get used to the city way of life and seldom go home.

In their struggle for survival people become less dependent on each other within families. But still parents think it is important to teach their children daily skills and basic values of life. The result of a resent nationwide survey showed that the most important values parents want to teach their children are honestly, common sense, purposefulness, responsibility, good manners and obedience to parents. Adults believe children should be brought up to expect that they will have to struggle to succeed.

Like most other people, Ukrainians like holidays and merrymaking. They usually try to cook many tasty dishes and invite a lot of friends and relatives to their places. Another thing Ukrainians love to do is talk (while strolling, in cafes and restaurants, or at home over a cup of tea or coffee or other drinks). Conversation tends to be light, relaxing, humorous, and sometimes philosophical. Many Ukrainians enjoy picnics in the wood or somewhere the water at almost any time of year. Picnics often involve shashlik or barbequed meat, homemade salads, and sometimes alcohol. Ukrainians love to sit around fires at night and snack, drink, and sing songs to a guitar.

Popular outdoor sports in Ukraine are soccer, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and hiking (walking in the forest). Fitness clubs have appeared all over the place. Yoga and martial arts are quite popular as well. Mountain climbing and rock climbing clubs can be found. Scuba diving, yachting, and even golf have recently become available. Increasingly popular in Ukraine are all sorts of extreme sports (bungee jumping, river rafting, downhill mountain biking, spelunking, etc.), and, more generally, all forms of active recreation (hiking, biking, boating, horseback riding, skiing, etc.).

Not everyone will do the things we’ve described above. Some Ukrainians’ culture will strike you as incomprehensible and intolerable, while others’ behavior and attitudes will seem rational and compatible with your own.

Safety Tickets

The great thing about working in the oilfield and construction industries is that you do not need a lot of expensive or formal training to get your foot in the door. If you've got a great attitude and work ethic, you'll probably quickly become a valued team member. The fact that jobs in these industries tend to pay well means that there can be many people vying for the same position. There are a few things you can do before your job hunt to set yourself up for success.

Before you start sending out resumes, do some research and find out what safety tickets are kindly required for the positions you're interested in. Having current safety tickets on your resume can boost your application ahead of other candidates who do not have the same training. Having valid safety tickets means that you can get to work as soon as you're hired (versus other candidates who may spend their first week tied up in training courses). Here's some examples of some of the safety tickets you should consider to get the attention of the hiring manager:

1. CSTS (Construction Safety Training System): This is a basic safety certification that you'll need before working on site. It's a half-day, online course that will only cost you about $ 65.

2. First Aid: This is necessary if you will be working on any site that presents serious occupational hazards. Occupational Health and Safety legislation mandates how many employees must have first aid training depending on the size of the crew and site. Most companies will require that all field-based employees have valid first aid training to respond quickly and to minimize incidents if they happen. When selecting your training, look for Standard First Aid with Level A CPR. This is typically a two-day course and costs about $ 175.

3. H2S Alive: If you'll be working on sites where there is petroleum extraction or drilling, you'll need this certification. H2S Alive teachers you how to protect yourself and others from Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) which is a colourless poisonous gas that is sometimes released as a by-product of oil and gas drilling. When looking for H2S training, be sure to select one that specifics "H2S Alive". There are other H2S training courses that will not necessarily meet industry standards. H2S Alive is a one-day course and costs approximately $ 275.

CSTS, First Aid, and H2S Alive are the three basic safety tickets that you'll probably need before starting a job. Getting them in advance of applying for jobs will make you more likely to get hired because your employer will not only save money on training, but can also put you to work right away.

Some additional requirements to consider before embarking on your job search include: a driver's license, steel-toed boots, and a resume. Having an unrestricted driver's license and a good driving record is highly favorable as some employers have insurance policies that exclude employees with limited or poor driving history. Steel-toed boots will be part of your required PPE (personal protective equipment) and many employers expect you to provide your own pair.

When you're drafting your resume, be sure to highlight experience that demonstrates your comfort with working outdoors in all weather conditions. Your experience working with heavy equipment, working in labor-intensive environments, and working as a part of a team, are all positive things to highlight on your resume that will set you apart from the crowd.

7 Ways to Make Love to Your Man’s Mind So That He Falls Deeper in Love

1. Give him that sexy look from time to time. When you look at him, make him feel that you want to make love to him. It is all in the eyes. For example, when he is getting dressed in the morning and you are in bed, let him know that you are looking at him. Let your eyes make him feel that he is the hottest guy you know.

2. When you talk to him make let him know that you love him with all your heart. Speak kind and caring words to him — they go a long way to open a man ‘s heart so that he can shower you with passionate love.

3. Support his passions. When you make your man feel that you “have his back”, he will go to the ends of the earth to do anything for you. He will fall in love with all his heart and soul.

4. Make him feel needed. Invite him to participate in important decision that will affect your life. When you make him feel that he is an indispensable part of your life, he feels appreciated, and he will appreciate and love you in return.

5. Be affectionate. Touch him, kiss him, and hug him daily. The mind and body are connected. When you do things that make his body feel good, his mind will react positively toward you.

6. Always be ready to forgive and forget. When he does something that hurts you and he apologizes to you, don’t hold his misdeeds against him. And most importantly don’t shove it in his face at the slightest provocation. When you forgive him, he will love you even more.

7. Do not nag him. Your man will never do all things you want him to do when you want him to do them. So with that in mind, go easy on him when he forgets to do some things you asked him to do. When you go easy on him, he finds it much easier to overlook some of your imperfections and love you just the way you are.

Making love to a man ‘s mind is all about how you treat him from the time you get up until the time you go to bed. When you make love to his mind daily, he will bend over backwards to love you with all his heart and soul.

Improve Your Squash: Advantages of Watching the Ball at All Times

Watching the squash ball during a rally is the most important thing you can do to improve your game. Never ever take your eyes of the ball during a rally. if you are afraid of watching the ball when behind you, wear protective eyewear. It is impossible to reach your potential if you don’t consistently keep your eyes on the ball. Watching the ball as it leaves your opponent’s racquet, in particular when the ball is behind you, will dramatically increase on how you are able to:

Better judge your opponent’s shot

You will get the first idea of where your opponent’s shot is going when the ball leaves his racquet. You can gather information on the direction, the trajectory, the speed and the height of the shot for your brain to calculate where you will need to be to meet it. To accurately track the ball, it is necessary to keep your eye on the ball at all times. If you wait to see the ball come off of the front wall you have lost about half of the valuable trajectory input necessary to accurately judge the shot played.

Better anticipate your opponent’s shot

Only by watching the ball that split second at impact coming off your opponent’s racquet will let you anticipate his shot.

Important: If you are turning your head back to the front wall prior to impact you are not anticipating, you are guessing! To volley well in particular you need to see the ball early to be on your way to intercept it. If you learn to anticipate if they’re driving, dropping, boasting or going cross-court then that is half the battle right there. Anticipation only works with watching the ball when it is behind you.

Research demonstrates that “expert”players can predict the opponent’s shot to a very high accuracy level up to 600 milliseconds before impact. Important cues for making anticipatory decisions – movement of the arm and racquet especially 160-80ms before impact and the flight of the ball immediately (up to 80ms) after impact.

The two main sources of information that are used by expert players are:

1. Probability – the opponent’s strategic habits, the opponent’s technical abilities and his/her court position;

2. Postural cues given off by the opponent – specifically the arm and racquet movement leading up to contact with the ball.

Research has shown that expert players do not have better “vision”than beginners nor do they look at different cues to beginners when searching for information on which to base their decision about what is about to happen. Rather, expert players appear to make better use of the information available – especially with regard to the opponent’s arm and racquet action.

Expert players also identify or pick up patterns of play better than beginners.

Anticipation skills range from the simple – predicting the bounce of the ball, through to the ability to read the play sufficiently well to volley a fast paced ball hit from the front court by a “deceptive” player. These skills become automatic with experience but traditionally, we have only developed these skills by playing matches.

Better move around the court, have a better rhythm

Watching the ball when it is behind you is vital for movement. This, in turn, will increase your speed to the ball and allow you to move at the appropriate speed, not overrunning the ball. Overrunning the ball is one of the biggest problems at a beginner level.

If you watch the front wall, you will only have the sound of your opponent hitting the ball or the ball coming into your peripheral vision to react too. This will often have your feet moving late or very late respectively, and make it a huge disadvantage in getting to your opponent’s tight shots.

watching improves your speed around the court dramatically without getting any faster physically. I believe watching the ball well will get you way faster around the squash court than getting physically faster.

Only through consistently watching the ball coming off your opponent’s racquet when the ball is behind you in the back court will you learn a rhythm to move around the squash court.

Rhythm is an integral part in any sport, facilitating all movements.

Make better tactical decision

The more time available you have in this fast game, the better your decisions tend to be.

Play safer and avoiding decisions against you.

Watching helps you getting out of the way of the racket swing, and ball, while your opponent is returning the shot. Wear eyewear if you are afraid to watch. Without watching the ball your progress will be limited and can be dangerous. Watch the ball and if you are too close and within the “line of fire” move out of the way, but do not take your eye off the ball. You can’t always go back to the T when you hit a loose shot. Move your T position if necessary.

The downside of not watching the ball when your opponent is behind is that you may be guilty of not clearing, and even worse, not attempting to clear. That can be the difference between a stroke and a let.

Adventure Travel In Australia

Adventure travel developed as a segment of the tourism market during the latter half of the 20th century out of the more general traditional notice of outdoor recreation. Adventure travel differs from earlier forms of outdoor recreation, however, in that it offers travelers greater opportunities to experience specific physical activities (eg rock climbing, diving, snow-boarding, kayaking, abseiling) that involve greater levels of skill and, within acceptable limits, risk. With traditional outdoor recreation, the primary attraction is the specific setting: with adventure travel, however, travelers are referred to primarily by the activities offered. Adventure travel is there before primarily associated with travel products where the primary purpose is to engage in activity and participation experience rather than the more passive sightseeing associated with traditional outdoor tourism.

The travel industry has evolved considering since the 1970s. Changes include sociodemographic shifts which have seen a growth both the disposable income and available leisure time of many travelers. Travelers generally have become more discerning, have more travel experience, and have come to enjoy the benefits of cheaper, more convenient transport and other technological advances. As a result, substantive changes occurred in the demand for international travel products. The 1990s saw rapid growth in the evolution of specific segments of the tourism market including ecotourism, nature tourism and other special interest tourism which catered for the new breed of sophisticated traveler with both the means and the will to travel.

While travel costs will always remain a significant factor in decision-making for most travelers, the perception of tourist satisfaction is today of increasing importance. Increasingly, travel products must provide something other than simple value for money to attract tourists pursuing deeper, more satisfying purposes. In short, new patterns in travel choices have emerged to accommodate a much greater spectrum of travel interests, activities and experiences. Adventure travel today is increasingly the travel mode of choice for sophisticated travelers seeking to experience a holiday rather than simply sit in a tour bus passively sightseeing.

The increasing interest of many travelers in actively experiencing their holiday has also been matched with a rapid expansion in the range and quality of travel-related equipment available, extending the capability of tour operators to deliver more diversified adventure travel products. Australia has been at the forefront of these developments, and adventure travel is now one of the fastest-growing travel market segments in that country. Continuing to grow in their scope and appeal, it appears today that the variety and availability of adventure travel products for a broad spectrum of abilities and interests and liabilities is almost limitless.

In Australia, the idea of adventure in travel is inefficiently linked to that of the Outback. This means that true adventure travel is more likely to be found away from the comfortable, urban east coast, and in particular away from the area located south of the Brisbane-Adelaide line where over 80% of Australians live in urban and suburban settings oblivious to the geographical, climatic and cultural realities of the majority of the Australian continent. High on the list of authentic Australian outback adventure travel destinations therefore are Central Australia and the Northern Territory, far north and western Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia. The island of Tasmania also provides many exciting opportunities for adventure travel in unique wilderness areas.

Quality outback adventure tours in Australia are characterized by many factors, including the use of four-wheel-drive vehicles rather than buses, access to spectacular remote sites, provision of challenging adventure activities, and active hands-on participation in daily routines. The use of 4×4 vehicles typically allows tour operators to access more remote, difficult and spectacular country. By encouraging active participation in daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, setting camp and packing up, adventure tours engage travelers in the complete outdoor adventure experience rather than simply waiting on passive participants hand and foot.

But the real adventure element provided by the best quality tours takes the form of specific adventure activities ranging from bushwalking, rock climbing, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, through to more extreme activities such as diving, canoeing, abseiling, jet-skiing, quad riding, white water rafting and hot air ballooning.

Differences Between Damask, Brocade, and Jacquard

Often times, uneducated individuals use the terms damask, brocade, and Jacquard interchangeably with one another. It can often confuse those who are unfamiliar with the world of fabrics. Jacquard is a decorative or woven pattern that is created by using a Jacquard attachment on a loom. The attachment resembles the punch card on a piano. It is purported to offer better versatility and fabric control for the operator of the loom. The Jacquard technique can be applied to a variety of fabrics, and it is commonly used on brocade and damask fabrics. It is commonly used in a variety of apparel and home goods, from tablecloths to bedding.

Brocade is defined as a lavishly decorated, shuttle woven fabric. It is primarily woven from silk; although, it is possible to find brocade constructed from a blend of silk and synthetic fibers. Often, it will be embroidered with gold or silver thread. Brocade can trace its origins back to India, where weaving is a traditional art form. It is typically woven on a loom, and it may or may not be woven using the Jacquard technique. It is also characterized by the manner in which the brocaded or broached parts of the fabric hang in loose groups or are clipped away. Although the scenes and patterns on brocade appear to have been embroidered, the scenes are actually woven into the fabric using advanced weaving techniques that involve manipulating the weft and weave of the fabric. The most common types of scenes depicted on brocade fabric are those of floral prints.

Damask, similarly to brocade, is a fabric that features woven scenes of floral patterns, intricate geometric designs, or simple scenes of domestic life. It may be woven of silk, wool, linen, cotton, or synthetic fibers. However, it is most commonly created from silk. It is primarily different from brocade in the fact that its woven fabric pattern is reversible, while that of brocade is not. Similarly, shorter weft patterns in damask allow for more subtle effects in the fabric to be created as it plays off of shadow and light. Damask weaves also contain a higher thread count than that of brocade. Double damask weaves are the highest quality of damask produced; however, it is also the most expensive.

How Not to Let Airline Ticket Websites Fly Away With Your Money

In lieu of saving a dollar or two on airline tickets, airline ticket websites could be flying away with more than just your money.

The internet is full of websites that contain good deals on airline tickets. Customers of such websites need to exercise caution. Some websites have reported deals that are simply too good to be true. Remember the old adage, "if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, it probably is a duck." So watch out.

These websites attract patrons by slashing airline ticket prices offered elsewhere. They capture your personal information, including credit card number, expiration date, and CVV (credit card verification value, a security feature on credit cards) code. The customer then receives a message that says that the credit card transaction has been declined. Then there are directions on how to wire the money for payment of those tickets. Another variation of this illegal money making scheme has the website give you an error message at the end of the transaction signaling you that there was technical difficulty with instructions on how to pay for the ticket via money order. In reality, many reputable businesses would not do this.

We have compiled a small list of websites that employ these questionable business practices:

This website scam is essentially another form of phishing. It only differs from the conventional phishing scam in that the customer is the one who initiates the contact. The customer does this by performing an internet search for the lowest ticket prices. Finding crooked websites that rank high in the search results creates a false impression that these websites are honest and ethical. If you fall for this scam, the perpetrators will have won this game of deception by obtaining your credit card information, money that you wire transferred, and deposit account information.

These websites are only a few of the numerous crooked websites. The simplest way to avoid this consumer fraud scam is to patronize well known and trusted websites when conducting business online. This includes making travel arrangements.

There are lots of consumer fraud schemes out there. It is up to you, the consumer, to educate yourself to recognize what is and is not legitimate. Hopefully our advice will help you minimize becoming a victim of the crime of phishing.

Noise Canceling Earbuds For Your Mp3 Player

Anyone that has spent any serious amount of time listening to an Ipod or any other mp3 player has had to buy new earbuds. Let's face it, the pair of earbuds provided with most mp3 players are far from the top of the line. They may be good but they are never great.

So the included earbuds either break at some point (even if they are not half bad) or they need to be replaced because their sound reproduction is not great. Faced with having to buy new earbuds, what do you do? If you have done any research online into what you should buy you have kindly come across what is advertised as noise canceling earbuds. Do these work and are they worth it? Well, that depends.

Noise canceling technology has been around for awhile. You probably know about it from the idea of using a set of noise canceling head phones while flying on a plane. The technology for headphones was heavily developed for, and has since been marketed as, a "better way to fly." The sound of the jet engine whining is eliminated by the noise canceling and you probably have a better, more relaxing flight.

It turns out one of the reasons these headphones do well on an airplane is because they are dealing with a noise that is constant and of a low frequency. For that purpose, the technology works just great. Higher frequency sounds and more intermittent noises are not blocked as well. This does not matter as much if you are flying in a jet airplane. You notice a great difference, besides the fact you may still hear some level of environmental noise. Often these noises are irregular loud noises but they can also be other sounds too like, for example, people's voices. They are muffled and greatly reduced but some sounds are still there. Since earbuds use the same ideas as headphones as to how to deal with noise cancelling they too can be good with some sounds and not as good with others.

The real kicker in this whole deal is the fact that earbuds provide an opportunity to improve the sound isolating benefits of headphones. Earbuds that fit snugly into the ear canal can block sound and in many cases the environmental noise that is blocked are the same types of sounds that can not be deal with well by active noise cancelling.

The take home point from all of this is if you are thinking of buying some noise canceling earbuds, you should consider models that also have good noise blocking capabilities. Another important consideration is why you are thinking of buying noise canceling earbuds anyway. If you are more interested in isolating yourself from everyday noise, in other words you are not needing them for eliminating a low frequency constant noise (jet engine noise on a plane, commuter train noise, traffic noise outside of a house that is on a busy street, etc.), you might just need a pair of noise blocking earbuds.

3 Secret Strategies for Making Your Wife Give You Head

How to Make Your Wife Give You Head

Hey man,

So, you don’t know how to make your wife give you head more often, or, at all. No worries, there are certain things that you can do that will make giving you head a hell of a lot more interesting to her. I’ll give you 3 secret strategies for brainwashing your wife into giving you head on demand! This may sound insane, but bear with me. The reality is that your wife would be HAPPIER if she gave you head every day, she just doesn’t know it, yet. Let’s get her down to business;)

1. The first strategy is the “Fear” strategy. Here’s how it works. It contains two parts. The first part is crucial for making your wife give you head: you have to become as valuable as possible to your wife. She needs to depend on you for something. It can be money, power, or just emotionally. If she needs You, she’ll do anything to keep you. This is where you have power over her. It may sound cruel, but I guarantee you that this is in Her best interest. Your job is to make yourself as valuable as you can. Get a better job, make more money than her, be above her in any way that will make her dependent on you. That’s the first part, here’s where the second part kicks in: Fear of loss. If you are valuable, other women will find you attractive, and, when that happens – your wife will know that if she doesn’t please your sexual needs and wants – some other women might jump in and take you away from her. She’ll do anything to stop that. That’s one way you can make your wife give you head more often.

2. The second strategy is the “Reciprocity” method. Here’s how it works. Don’t expect to get anything if you never give anything. Give, and you’ll get. Start by eating your wife out at least two times a week. Eat her out like there’s no tomorrow. If you can give her the best sex ever, she’ll do anything to keep you. Plus, giving her great sex will make you more valuable to her. Not only that – but, she’ll feel like she owes you something and that she has to repay you with great head. This is a very successful strategy for making your wife go down on you.

3. The third persuasion strategy is what I call “Brainwashing.” You need to brainwash her into giving you more head step by step, little by little, and sooner or later she’ll love giving you head and it will seem like she was doing it forever. She’ll initiate the blow job herself. How do you brainwash her into enjoying blow jobs? You use the reward system. Whenever she does something that you like and you want her to keep doing – you reward her. Reward her with compliments, kisses, helping around the house, flowers, whatever you want – just do it AFTER she did what you want her, not before. This is very, very important. Always reward her AFTER she gave you head, not before that. Don’t use cheap persuasion strategies to make her give you head… they don’t work.

These are some basic tips that will help you to make your wife give you head. Make sure to also check out my other articles that will also help you improve your sex life.

Airfare Consolidators – What Are They and How Can They Help You Find Cheap Airline Fares?

Have you been hearing about airfare consolidators lately and wondering what in the world it is and how it could help you find cheap airline fares? Are you even sure exactly what it is? I was in the same boat, wanting to find cheap travel deals and inexpensive airfare for my yearly vacation, but scratching my head about how to do so. I kept reading about these airfare consolidators all over the place and I actually had no idea what the term even meant. Why would I want to consolidate airfare anyway?

Consolidator fares are those elusive fares that are released in very limited amounts to various companies who then resell them. It's possible to get a hold of them but it's also possible to find better deals elsewhere sometimes.

To gain a better understanding of what these fares actually are, it basically goes like this. In years past, airline companies realized that the process of selling fares to travel agencies and to regular consumers was too "visible" to the competitors, allowing those qualifying companies to lower their fares enough to steal away their customers. So what they did was, on the not-so-popular flights, they began offering non-publicized lower fares to consolidators, who would then sell them in a fire-sale-type manner.

Nowadays, consolidators are still doing business and most airlines have contracts with them. The consolidator will be contracted to sell these "private" airfares at a lower price than any published fares the general public would see. You generally will not be able to find any consolidators who will sell straight to the consumer, but you will find these cheap travel tickets possibly in the travel section of your paper on Sunday, offered by a local travel agency. You may also find them advertised through some of the online travel agencies.

The best opportunities for finding these marked-down prices from the airfare consolidators is if you happen to be shopping for a plane ticket at the last minute, and / or if you happen to be planning to travel out of the country by coach.

Remember though that not all bargain basement prices you find are in reality consolidator fares, although they might be. The best way to find value-priced airfare is still to shop around and compare prices well in advance of your travel date.

When most people think about a device which plays video, they assume there is a physical storage required for the video. For example, to watch a movie on a DVD player, you need a DVD to insert into the DVD player. Similarly, to watch a video you have downloaded, you will need the video to be stored on your computer’s hard drive. Roku has broken the mold in this regard. Since Roku players stream video, they do not need a disc, hard drive, or anything to store the video. This is what keeps the device so small and simple. As long as you have an internet connection and a TV, you can be watching thousands of titles in a matter of minutes.

Roku Streaming Technology

The technology is similar to YouTube. If you’re familiar with YouTube, you know that YouTube videos are not saved to your computer. That would take up entirely too much space. Instead, the video is streamed in small compressed “chunks” of video data so there is minimal loading time. Roku downloads videos from various sources and plays them on the television screen using the same technology.

Roku Models

There are currently 3 Roku models: Roku HD, Roku XD and Roku XD S. The models vary in terms of features, so make sure to compare the Roku models first. Consider the features offered by each model and which features fit your needs before making your purchase decision. There are no recurring fees for owning a Roku player. Purchasing a Roku player is a one-time payment, and the rest is up to you. There is plenty of free videos available for viewing, or you may be interested in paying a small subscription fee for more video than you could ever watch in a lifetime! For example, Netflix and Hulu Plus, which are both available on Roku, offer thousands of movie and television titles which are available on demand.

Roku: What’s Included?

Every Roku player model comes with the following:

  • 1 Remote control
  • 2 “triple A” batteries (for the remote)
  • 1 Composite (red/white/yellow) A/V cable
  • 1 power adapter
  • 1 “Getting started guide”
  • 1 year warranty

2 Thrusting Techniques That Drive Her Wild in Bed

This probably won’t come as a surprise to you, but almost no guys take the time to think about the thrusting techniques they use during sex.

I remember when I was having sex, before I learned all the “cool tricks” and ways to give women multiple orgasms, I never used to think about my thrusting techniques.

And if I did somehow think about how I was thrusting I just assumed “it probably doesn’t matter how i’m thrusting anyway”…

How wrong I was.

One of the things I discovered on my “journey” to becoming a great lover is that the thrusting techniques you use during sex can make the difference between her orgasming 3+ times or her feeling nothing.

So if you take nothing away from reading this but one thing then let it be this.

Experiment with different thrusting techniques every time you have sex.

As soon as you start consistently experimenting, suddenly you’ll be shocked when you come across a few different thrusting techniques that drive her wild.

And as you keep experimenting you’ll discover more and more great thrusting techniques, and eventually you’ll have a nice collection of thrusting techniques you can pick from every time you have sex that you know will get her to orgasm.

Now let me get a bit clearer about what exactly I mean by “thrusting techniques that drive her wild”.

Thrusting techniques are how you thrust your penis in and out during sex.

Most men opt for the fast, all in and all out approach with no change of rhythm, speed, depth or timing.

Here’s where you can be different.

Start mixing up the rhythm, speed, depth and timing of your thrusting.

Go fast for a bit, then go slow for a bit.

Go deep for a bit, then shallow for a bit.

You get the idea.

But you can also get a bit more advanced than this…

So here are two examples of some slightly more advanced thrusting techniques you can try out or get ideas from…

1 – slowly increasing depth and speed

women love build-up, teasing and anticipation.

You sticking your “thing” in full depth as soon as you start sex is not any woman’s idea of a good time (unless you’ve already got a history of raw physical attraction and exceptional pleasure giving, in which case you can break the rules now and again).

Like I said, women like to be teased.

So one great thrusting technique for this is to start off sex by entering your penis into her vagina at an absolute minimal depth and very slowly.

Then take it out again.

Then next time enter very slightly deeper and very slightly faster.

Then take it out again.

And repeat the process getting gradually deeper and faster.

Overall it’s a fairly slow process and it should take several minutes until you’re in full depth.

And because of all the teasing and anticipation you created, she’ll appreciate your deep thrusting 10x more than if you started full depth straight away.

2 – slow and shallow with the occasional slow deep thrust

this is another great thrusting technique for getting her to appreciate your deep thrust.

If you do this right you can experience her gasp when you go in deep.

How this one works is pretty simple.

Most of the time you’ll be thrusting very shallow, roughly an inch or two in depth.

Then every now and again, like once for every 10 shallow thrusts, perform a very slow thrust to full depth.

Because of the contrast to all the shallow thrusts she’s just experienced she will love the feeling of you going in all the way.

It works great.

And remember to just go in deep once and then return to doing 10 or so shallow thrusts before going deep again.

So there you have it.

Two examples of different thrusting techniques.

There’s an endless amount of ways you can vary your rhythm, speed, depth and timing while thrusting to create an incredible experience for her.

So get experimenting now.

Top Tips for Enjoying a Vacation Rental

What's more fun than a vacation at the beach or in the mountains? How about staying in a cozy, clean beach vacation rental during your stay? Whether you're bringing only the immediate family or have a reunion with aunts, uncles, and cousins in mind, renting a beach house or vacation home in the mountains for the week provides comfort for all, and it's not as expensive as you would think .

When you have chosen your home away from home, bear in mind there are a few things to know that will help make your vacation to the beach, the mountains, or anywhere at all memorable and fun.

1) Research your choices. No two vacation homes are the same – some will come much larger than others and offer amenities not available in other rentals. Once you know for certain how many people are coming with you, research a home with the corresponding number of rooms and look for extras that appeal to you. If you want a nice balcony, hot tub, BBQ grill, and other perks, confirm everything in advance so you are not disappointed.

2) Check for pet policies. Many people prefer beach home rentals over hotels because of flexible pet policies. This does not mean, however, that dogs and cats are permitted in all vacation homes. If your four-footed family member is accompanying you, make sure the home you rent allows pets.

3) Scout area grocers and restaurants. With kitchen access, you'll have the opportunity to cook some tasty meals. You'll need food, of course, and you should research where your rental sits in relation to area grocery stores, specialty gourmet shops, and takeout restaurants. If you have certain dietary needs, you may want to bring groceries with you as well.

4) Check linens. Vacation homes typically have linens available to you, but you want to confirm this to be sure. If you have blankets or pillow with which you are more comfortable, bring them along for a good night's sleep.

5) Know all emergency contacts. Give a friend or relative at home the address and available number of the rental home or the company handling the rentals. You should also know how to contact the home owner or agency in the event of an accident or damage.

When you come to your vacation rental prepared, you are destined to enjoy a relaxing, fun stay with your family and friends in a luxurious vacation home.

VW Campers – The Splittie Story

The VW Type II Split-Screen Camper – from Utility Van to Design Icon

How Did it all Start?

When the British found themselves running the VW factory in Wolfsburg, Germany after the Second World War, there was a shortage of equipment and resources. The engineers had made up flatbed trolleys using the VW Beetle chassis and running gear to transport parts round the huge factory.

On a visit to the factory, Ben Pon, a Dutch VW importer, saw the little trucks. He sketched a design for a beetle-based van, which was basically a simple box on wheels, after he was inspired by the basic but effective plattenwagens. A year later, Heinz Nordhoff took on this idea when he became chief executive of Volkswagen and the first VW van was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in November 1949.

Europe was restructuring and there was a lack of simple but sturdy transport vehicles that were flexible and low cost. The Type VW II met this need.

On the 8th March 1950 production of ten vehicles a day began. The basic rear engine design remained the same for four decades and over five million buses were produced.

The Successful 'Splittie'

The type 2 vans had a split windscreen with a sweeping v-line front and a large VW emblem. These buses were 170 cubic feet (about 4.8 cubic meters) in volume and were spacious enough to hold a 15-hand horse.

The bus had the engine and axles of the Beetle but had a unified construction supported by a ladder frame instead of the central frame platform. The original plan was to use the Beetle chassis, but this was not adequate to carry the proposed payload of 750kg so there was a rapid redesign in 1949 before the launch.

The ladder frame is two longitudinal parallel girders or beams on which the suspension, engine, transmission etc are mounted. It is good for carrying direct loads but the handling is poor, partly due to a lack of stiffness so it performs poorly when cornering.

The air-cooled engine was just over 1131cc with an output of 25hp but later (in 1954) the engine size was increased to 1192cc and 30hp. The VW van was designed as a utility vehicle, not for speed – or handling.

An important contribution to the design was the result of testing at the wind tunnel of the Technical University of Braunschweig. The flat angular front end of the prototype performed poorly, but the resulting redesign paid off, as the Type 2 was aerodynamically superior to the Type 1 Beetle durable its slab-sided shape. This design also directed in the iconic and much-loved round front with the styling of the sweeping V and oversize VW badge.

As the design was so adaptable, VW turned out many different body variations over the first five years. These included buses, pick-ups, fire engines, rear-door ambulances, beer wagons, refrigerated ice-cream vans, milk floats, mobile butchers shops, bread vans, mobile grocers, regular delivery vans and of course the VW camper – over 90 variants in all.

Evolution of the Type 2 VW

The split screen type 2 was produced from 1950 to 1967 and went through a number of developments, which were clearly reflected in the type 2 VW campers as well. The engine size was gradually increased from 1100 to 1500cc and in 1963 the sliding side door became available as an option to the barn doors.

The later 'fifties models had a slightly extended roofline above the windscreen, the engine bay became smaller and 15 inch wheels were introduced.

In 1967 the electrical system changed to 12 volts just before the new type (bay window) was introduced.

The Birth of the VW Camper

Volkswagen contracted the VW camper to Westfalia, a coach building company located in the German region of Westphalia. From 1951 onwards the company fitted the buses with a variety of internal layouts. An innovative 'Tourist Delivery Scheme' encouraging people to collect their campers from Germany, helped spread VW campers, and many were bought by US servicemen stationed in Germany, who shipped them back to the US. VW campers were also soon available from VW dealers round the world.

The VW camper took off due to its tiny fittings and furnishings that epitomized the 50's home from home. Before the era of cheap charter flights and package holidays, the VW camper enabled families to take economic camping and touring holidays in relative comfort.

The side opening barn doors [] enabled the van to be opened up to the outdoors and ingenious fittings made maximum use of what was rather limited space . The pop-top package was introduced later and then became really popular on the later bay window campers introduced in 1968.

Approximately 1000 VW campers were produced between 1951 and 1958, followed by the SO models which had a range of special equipment.

VW Camper Equipment

The standard VW campers included different fold out seat arrangements for sleeping, including the famous rock 'n roll bed. The interior was lined with plywood panels and there were plywood storage cabinets in a variety of layouts.

Some models had a sink and there was water storage with a pump plus an electrical hook-up. Curtains were standard as were screened windows and a folding table.

Optional equipment for type 2 VW campers included pop up tops and attachable or stand-alone tents and side awnings. Mod cons available included a portable chemical toilet, a camping stove and other camping equipment.

There were also ingenious options such as a child's sleeping cot slung in the driver's cab, storage boxes and a swing table.

Even with all these options, the split screen VW campers were still basic, slow and small by modern standards.

VW Camper Culture

This did not affect their popularity and the VW bus was adopted by the 1960s counter-culture as then older campers were available cheaply, and both the VW camper and the samba bus suited the carefree outdoor hippy lifestyle.

Since then split screen camper and buses have become classics and design icons, and are now collectors' items with many examples preserved and beautifully restored.

Large numbers of VW camper fans gather at events all over the world; you can hire a restored splittie for your holiday or special event, and imagination of the early models can be found on a huge range of items: clothing, mugs, toys, pictures and even usb sticks.

It's all a long way from Ben Pon's little sketch 60 years ago.
