Premium Cigarettes at Discount Price

If you are an ardent smoker or somebody who who love trying out international brands that may not available in your country, the easiest way to fulfill your aspirations is to shop from a decent enough online cigarette store. Another plus with online cigarette stores in general is that customers could buy premium cigarettes from there at much discounted prices. It is owed to a number of heavy taxes imposed on tobacco products in general that is responsible for the higher price tags of premium cigarette brands such as cheap Marlboro cigarettes, Camel, Dunhill, Chesterfield, Magna, or Capri. The recent hike in the tax rates has only upped the prices further. But, then how online cigarette stores are able to sell premium cigarette brands at exceedingly lower rates, affordable to the common man on the streets?

As mentioned already, a major chunk of the price charged on cigarette cartons is due to the various taxes imposed on its manufacture, raw materials, sale etc. The actual cost of the cigarettes minus the taxes will be only half of its market price. Since online sales do not attract any taxes as of now, online cigarette stores could sell the premium cigarette brands for exceptionally low discount prices. This will be evident if you could visit any of the online cigarette stores and see the rates for yourself. If the market rate for a carton of Marlboro is $ 40, the price tag for the same in such online cigarette portals will be $ 12 or $ 13. This is a price tag that is more than 100% less than the market rate!

However, it must be kept in mind that online cigarette selling and buying is not legal in all the states in the United States. For example, California has parked the online marketing of cheap cigarettes or any other cigar brands. As a result, the online cigarette retailers offer premium cigarettes at discount prices are usually holed up in areas where the tax structure is either low or free or in reserved Indian lands where the stringent federal tax laws are not applicable. If to believe certain market reports that were published on such retailers working out of 'no-tax' lands, they make millions of dollars every year and that without having to overstep the contours of law.

Most online cigarette stores also ship cheap discount cigarettes to other countries as well, provided the country of the customer permits such trans-national shipping of cigarette cartons. Such a reservation is relevant as in certain countries like Thailand, India, Angola, and Spain, online shipping of cheap discount cigarettes is banned, and is a punishable off if someone is found breaking the law of the country. Usually the online cigarette stores specify to which all countries they ship the order and to which all nations they do not. Finally, for all the orders placed, payments must be done through credit cards, much in the same way payments are made in shopping websites like eBay or Amazon. Contact the customer care team of the relevant online cigarette stores for further details.

Overseas Travel Insurance Plans – Costs Less and Offers More

Everyone craves for vacations to enjoy some quality time with their loved ones and Indians are no exception. The outbound travel sector of India saw a robust growth this year because international travel destinations are highly sought-after among Indians in 2015. Obstacles like inflation, skyrocketing ticket price and depreciation of rupee couldn’t deter the wandering spirit of Indian travelers to travel around the world. Over 60% of Indians remain unmoved by the depreciating rupee and are raring to go to travel. However, the rate of availing travel insurance to safeguard the trip is still dismal among Indian travelers.

Young generations prefer to travel to international destinations once a year at least. According to a survey, 90% of these travelers make use of their own savings for overseas trips and don’t consider travel cover. Quite surprisingly, this is the mindset of young internet savvy generation as ICICI Lombard conducted the survey in the age group of 25-35 among 1049 people across six metro cities in India who had international trips in the previous year.

The survey further reveals that Singapore is the most preferred travel destination among young Indian travelers; the second and third places are held by US and UK.

Best travel insurance plans in India in terms of baggage and medical coverage

The survey also made clear that 79% people buy travel plan to cover medical emergencies. Safety of baggage is the second most vital reason as 60% people behind purchasing travel insurance policy. So let’s find out best travel insurance plans in terms of medical emergency and luggage safety.

From the above list of travel policies for US, two plans by Reliance and Bajaj Allianz look best in terms of baggage cover.

Reliance Travel care platinum provides US$1500 for the loss of checked baggage for a premium of Rs.1783.

  1. Emergency Medical Expenses
  2. Permanent Disablement/accidental death
  3. Hospital Cash
  4. Loss of Personal Documents
  5. Accidental Death
  6. Loss of Baggage

  8. Personal Liability

What is the cost of international travel policy for a couple?

According to the survey, 52% of travelers prefer to have trips with spouses. So, if these people can avail a travel plan for visiting US or UK or Singapore, how much do they have to pay?

Let’s start with US trip for 10 days for a sum insured of US$ 100000 covering 2 people who are 30 and 28 years old.

Religare offers the best plan which comes at a premium of Rs. 2407.

If you compare travel plans available for couples who wish to visit UK, keeping the same criteria for trip duration, sum insured and age of the traveler, Religare provides the best plan. The premium of the plan is Rs. 1537.

For a trip in countries like Singapore, Thailand within Asia which has been the top travel destination of 2015, a couple has to spend even less for a travel insurance policy. If you compare travel insurance plans that cover Asia, you will get the lowest premium of Rs. 1218 from Explore Asia plan provided by Religare.

The positive part of the survey is the increased awareness among Indian travelers. More than 90% of young generation is aware of the travel insurance which is a significant rise from last year’s 80%. One of the major provider of travel insurance plans in India; ICICI Lombard underwritten a total travel insurance premium of Rs 100 previous year, one can expect the premium to increase by 5-10% in this year. The problem is not with the awareness; it is the lack of understanding about the benefits associated with these travel covers.

27% of the total respondents in the survey choose not to avail a travel insurance plan simply because they were under the wrong conception that such plans cover only accidents, loss of baggage and theft but don’t provide medical coverage. This is far from being the truth as the complete break-up of Titanium plan by HDFC ERGO shows extensive coverage for medical emergencies.

25% surveyed people didn’t buy any travel plan because they thought such plans are costly but it is not so. The price of all plans for person mentioned here are about less than Rs. 100 to less than Rs. 140 for each day of a 10 days trip. Travel insurance policies for couples are even cheaper as they cost in the range of less than Rs. 65 per day per person to less than Rs. 125 per day per person for destinations like US, UK and all countries in Asia including popular destinations like Singapore, Thailand.

Indians love to spend their holidays in international destinations. An international travel insurance plan doesn’t cost much and offers a lot in return. If you are also a travel freak, you should insure the total duration of the trip so that you can enjoy your holiday with complete peace of mind.

Extra-Large Wings on Air: Cargo Shipping Planes and Its Difference With Passenger Aircraft

When using an air cargo shipping service, some might wonder about how they actually fly so many things to different places. Compared to the usual passenger aircraft, it is hard to imagine how so items and packages can fit inside. As most people know, the planes used for the two types of cargo (people vs. 'actual' cargo) are not the same.

Passenger aircraft, which everyone has grown to know and love, are built to carry a certain capacity of weight, restricted to people, carry-on luggage, and other relatively lighter objects.

An example of this type of commercial airplane is the Boeing 737 Next Generation series. This narrow-bodied passenger aircraft is not used for air cargo shipping because it can only carry up to 756-1,835 cubic feet of cargo paired with its 130-215 seating capacity; adding anymore to this will render the aircraft overloaded.

Freight planes, on the other hand, do without the seating capacity as they function solely to transport goods, and not people; there is more space for shipment to be stored, especially since these planes are designed to be bigger than its commercial counterparts. The Boeing 747 Large Cargo Freighter (LCF), or the Dreamlifter, is a perfect example of how cargo planes are made differently to suit their function.

This outsize cargo freight aircraft is used exclusively for transporting airplane parts from around the world. This plane can hold up to 65,000 cubic feet in its main cargo compartment and has a wingspan of 211 feet and 5 inches. This wingspan allows it to soar in the skies even with heavy aircraft equipment inside, as compared to the 93 feet that the Boeing 737 is equipped with; making the Dreamlifter a giant that can hold so much more than other commercial jets.

As seen from this comparison, freight planes are really made to be bigger and more durable than commercial counterparts because of their function. Modifications have been made to make them an ideal form of transport for shipment of different sizes, ensuring everyone that their goods are safe and secure even from 25,000 to 37,000 feet above ground.

Find The Very Best Vacation Deals

Getting good vacation deals is way easier than you ever thought possible. For those lucky enough to be able to afford a holiday, the market is heavily skewed in favor of travelers thanks to the recession and current economic woes across the world. Those willing to take a gamble and wait with their holiday dealers until as near as possible to their desired departure date can capitalize even more on last minute vacation deals which see them jetting off for fun in the sun at an incredible price.

There are two schools of thought when it comes to getting affordable, fantastic holidays: get in early to take advantage of early bird offers, or leave it to the last minute to snap up unwanted seats and hotel beds. Getting the very best deals can be done either way way with similarly effective results.

Travel companies know that they will sell at least a certain amount of seats on planes and will fill a certain number of rooms in hotels. Barring natural disasters, they can be sure of that fact. There is a specific base limit below which they're almost certainly never to fall.

However they need to make sure that the ball gets rolling early and well when it comes to selling vacation packages, and so they price competitively when first opening up deals, allowing those customers who can commit a deposit early to snap up a super cheap vacation to some of the most exotic destinations. Traditionally, that has been the main source of good value holiday deals for tourists.

Recently, though, the tables have turned. With the catastrophic failure of the economy in 2009 came a severe loss of confidence in money as a whole and a reticence to spend cash on frippersies like vacations. Seats that tour operators once thought were dead certificates to sell out suddenly found themselves unpopular and with many spaces to fill.

Last minute bargains entered the travel industry, and have reshaped it beyond all belief. Today, it is often better to try and hold on until the very final moments before committing to the holiday you want to have to ensure the best bargain.

As travel companies panic that they will be left with empty rooms, they try their best to claw back any form of profit, no matter how small, drastically discounting their offers to a tiny percentage of their actual market worth, leaving travelers with the opportunity to get a cut price, bona fide bargain on their getaways.

Vacation deals have become obscene as these companies try to fill spaces on tours, including trips to far away places. Cuba vacations, for example, have seen some of the most drastic price cuts as travel agents panic at the concept of having hotels empty in the busy summer periods. Five star holidays can be had for two or three star prices by the savvy traveller willing to bide their time. It is most definitely a buyers market out there, so get thinking where you want to go next.

Confused With All Travel Information on the Internet?

There is so much information available on the internet right now regarding travel. There are online travel sites for cruises, hotels, air, trains and any other type of travel. But what is the correct product for you? Is the location of the hotel where you want to be? Is the type of room or cabin the right fit for you? Is that cruise line the one you should be booking? Not all products are created equal nor are the products right for everyone. How do you tell? Contact a travel professional.

Do travel agents exist?

There have been multiple articles, and even the President of the United States, has said travel agents do not exist or are going away. In a way they are right. Travel agents in the past were just someone who booked a trip for someone who called or came in to the storefront office of a travel agency. Storefront travel agencies are few and far between now a days as most of the "travel agents" have gone home to work. Even the term "travel agent" is going away because what they do now is different than what they did before.

Travel Professionals / Travel Counselors

Travel Agents are now more a counselor and an adviser so they are now called Travel Professionals or Travel Counselor. Even the travel industry is trying to get away from using the term "travel agent". They no longer just book a trip for someone, they know more than what is available to the traveling client. The travel professionals are now constantly learning, constantly traveling, receiving input from other travel professionals about where they have traveled and are a resource for what is required to travel now a days.

When you use an online travel agency like Expedia, Travelocity, etc. you are not able to have someone protect your back. They book the travel for you and then you are pretty much on your own. Say your flight gets canceled, who is going to book a replacement flight? You are, not them. If you use a travel professional that travel professional will do it. If something goes wrong on your trip, if the room you booked is not like what would you think it would be, who is going to make it right? A travel professional will also check regularly for price drops before final payment and if a new promotion offered would be more beneficial than what was booked with a deposit. All these things can be addressed before final payment.

A travel professional works with you from the time you first talk to them until you are home safe and sound and any and all problems have been solved or addressed.

It Costs More to Use a Travel Professional

This is not always true. True, some travel professionals charge fees but not all of them do. This is because some vendors, like airlines and some hotels, do not pay commission or some of the vendors have reduced the amount of claims paid to the travel professional. In order to make ends meet, some travel professionals charge fees. I charge $ 50 per person for airline reservations domestically and $ 100 for airline reservations internationally. I will also charge a fee sometimes for hotels for the same reason or if I am putting the various sections of the trip together myself. If I book a cruise or a tour, I do not charge a fee as the seller pays me a commission. Remember, whether you use a travel professional or not the commission is still being paid as it is automatically included in the price from the vendor. So, why not use a travel professional and avoid the hassle and save your time?

The rules for traveling are constantly changing and it is the travel professional who is able to keep their clients on track with them.

Examples: Passports

For instance, did you know that come January, 2016 you may need a passport to travel by air domestically? This is due to a law called the REAL ID Act. This requires all travelers to have a REAL ID compliant identification that includes all of these fields: full legal name, signature, date of birth, gender, unique identifying number, a principal residence address and a front-facing photograph of the applicable. Unfortunately there are still a handful of states that are non-compliant. Do you know which states are compliant and which are not? Your travel professional does. By the way, outright non-compliant states / territories are American Samoa, Louisiana and New Hampshire. The states of Minnesota and New York offer an optional Enhanced ID at a cost, so because it is optional, a large percentage of residents do not have one. Some states have applied for additional extensions, but it is unclear if those will be granted. Currently, only four states (Louisiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and New York) and American Samoa are technically non-compliant.

Also, we still do not know if January 1, 2016 will be the date of the requirement or will it be later? Because of this law, the passport processing time for all will be affected. All the passports issued in 2006 to meet the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative that went into effect in 2007 are now expiring, causing a slew of renewals. So, because of those renewals coupled with the possible REAL ID enforcement, passport times are expected to further increase. As of October 11, the current wait has already increased a week to four to six weeks for standard passports and three weeks for expedited. Expedited in person could be up to eight days based on travel need.

The ULTIMATE REAL ID Act will require all state-issued drivers' licenses to include "machine-readable technology" or chips to help keep us safe and secure while traveling. For more information on the REAL ID Act go to http://www.dhs.gov/real-id-public-faqs .

Also, passports are recommended for cruises just like they are required to fly outside of the United States. The reason being is if you do need to fly back to the United States from a foreign port you have a passport to do so. Just because you are on a cruise leaving a United States port, technically you are traveling internationally just as soon as you step on the ship as most ships are registered outside of the United States!

Example: Visas

A travel professional would be able to help you determine if visas are required to travel to where you want to go. If they do not know for sure, they know where to send you for that information and get confirmation that you do or do not need one for the type of travel you are taking. For instance, for most cruises if you leave an US port and return to the same US port you probably do not need a visa to visit the ports. This is called a "closed loop" trip. But, again, most of the cruises. Always double check to see if one is needed.

Example: Travel Insurance

Again, not all travel insurance is created equal. Should you purchase travel insurance? Absolutely !!! I recommend to my clients not to purchase travel insurance, for the most part, from the supplier of the cruise or product. The reason being the coverage is not as comprehensive as third party policies. Travel insurance is not only purchased for travel delays, luggage lost / damage or cancellation protection. Some health insurance companies do not cover you when traveling outside of the United States. Medicare doesnt. Travel insurance will act as your primary health insurance during your travel, from the time you leave to the time you return to your home. Also, it provides emergency evacuation for health reasons and protects you for other items. Always read the policy and information provided by the issuer of the travel insurance to see what is covered. Your travel professional will know which is a good travel insurance issuer.

Bangkok Hotels Near Red Light Distrits – A Travel Guide For First Timers

Finding a hotel in Bangkok for the first time can be quite confusing. After all there are so many hotels in Bangkok to choose. But if you know you want to stay in or near Bangkok's hottest red light districts then you're halfway there as I'll help you decide which hotels to stay in.

There are three red light districts located in central Bangkok. All are easily accessible by the many modes of transportation in Bangkok. And the hotels in Bangkok range from the no frills budget accommodations to luxury properties with classy service.

The first red light district is called Patpong. Like the rest of the nightlife action in Bangkok, Patpong starts and heats up after 7pm, especially when the night market opens up. Patpong is filled with go-go bars and clubs of various sections. The volume of events here is quite vast as businesses cater to mostly male customers either straight, gay or both. The most notable go-go bar names are King's Castle and Queen's Castle group located in Patpong one. And if you're looking for some bizarre amusement then check out the ping pong sex shows the area is so famous for. Just make sure you know what you'll be paying for.

Here are the names of a few hotels in Patpong worth staying in:

  • The Montien Hotel
  • Siam Heritage Boutique Hotel
  • Bally's Suite Silom Hotel

The next red light districts are located close to each other and they're called Soi Cowboy and Nana. Soi Cowboy is the smallest out of the three but it has the most well-known go-go bars in Bangkok. I'm talking about Long Gun and Rawhide, two very big time go-go bars. Even though Soi Cowboy is small it still packs quite a huge entertainment value.

Nana is the final red light district and the largest attraction because there are so many things to do around there. Most start off with Nana Entertainment Plaza. NEP is a small four story building stacked with go-go bars upon more go-go bars. You can not miss NEP especially at night when its filled with so many tourist from all over the world. The area surrounding Nana has a wide selection of places to eat and drink from many international choices. You'll find lots of open beer gardens too and bars to hang out and just people watch.

Here are the names of a few popular hotels to stay near Soi Cowboy and Nana:

  • Grand President Hotel
  • Ambassador Hotel
  • Nana Hotel

Most hotels located near the red light districts of Soi Cowboy and Nana are guest friendly. This means that the hotel does not charge an extra fee or a join fee for taking a companion back to the hotel rooms. Joiner fees can range from 500THB up to 1500THB. So as you can see guest friendly hotels in Bangkok are very popular and should be booked in advance.

Easy Ideas That Get Cheaper Air Fares

Finding cheaper air fares is a bit like looking for the Holy Grail – pretty much impossible, because the reality is that the cheapest air fare ticket does not actually exist, per se. What do I mean by this? There are so many permutations to getting cheap domestic flights or cheap international flights – such as the route, different airlines, travel class, seating, travel dates and times, etc, – especially on international flights – that no travel agency or airline could actually guarantee that you are getting the absolute cheapest air fares.

This does not mean that you should not be searching for the cheapest air fares but rather cheaper air fares that meet your own travel requirements in terms of time, convenience, comfort, etc. In other words, once you are fairly satisfied with a flight ticket, it's best to book and pay for it immediately rather than wasting time searching for something that might only save you a few dollars extra – bearing in mind that if you can not find it cheaper, your original deal might now have snapped up by someone else.

Ideally, if you regularly use a trusted travel agent for booking your travel and vacations you can give them details of what you want and trust them to show you the lowest air fare currently available for the flight criteria you specify. If you do not benefit from access to a trusted and reliable travel agent here are my Easy Ideas To Get Cheaper Air Fares:

Purchase your ticket as soon as possible – Fares often start increasing 21 days before the flight. The earlier you reserve your flight, the better chance you have of finding a cheaper air fare. Try booking on a Tuesday or Wednesday to benefit from increased pricing competition.

Buy a round-trip ticket, and travel using one airline – Round-trip tickets are usually cheaper than one-way tickets, and it is often cheaper to reserve all legs of your trip on a single airline, rather than a combination of multiple airlines .

Stay over a Saturday night – Itineraries that include a Saturday-night stay are sometimes much cheaper than mid-week trips. If you plan to return on a Saturday, think about delaying return to the Sunday and see if the fare comes down.

Choose an inconvenient flight time – Try different times of the night or day on different dates for the flight. Mid-morning and late-afternoon flights are often crowded, so try specifying flights leaving very early in the morning or very late at night to see if cheaper air fares are available. Flying on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday can sometimes be cheaper because these are less-popular days to fly on some routes.

Avoid traveling on or during holiday periods – It's sad but it's true that during holiday periods it's difficult to find cheaper airfares. Try to schedule flights on less-popular days, Eg avoid travel over Christmas or Thanksgiving by considering traveling on the days preferring or following these dates.

Use an alternative airport – Try using alternative airports near your intended destination to see if cheaper fares are available for another airport. Eg In the UK fares into London Stanstead are often cheaper than flying into London Heathrow or Gatwick.

Make use of promotions and sales – Get in immediately when promotions are announced online because the cheapest flights will sell quickly. Sign up for airline newsletters and travel alerts or join organizations that offer discounts on certain air lines.

Top Tip In Australia, some of the best last minute flight deals can be found on cheap domestic flights where Jetstar have a weekly "Fare Frenzy" 4pm to 8pm every Friday and Virgin Blue have their daily "Happy Hour" at noon. Whilst not an exhaustive list of tips to snare you the cheapest air fare, using the methods above will undutely save you a lot of money on your next flight.

Remember, that different airlines follow different fare rules, and so these guidelines may not apply to every itinerary but try one or more of the tips above and see if you can locate a better fare. Do not give yourself a coronary by spending hours looking for the absolute cheapest air fare bar none – it's not out there. It's far better to have an idea of your budget and travel requirements and then book the cheaper air fare that comes closest to meeting them.

Budget Travel Technique of the 21st Century

Traveling and exploring new worlds has become a need to a lot of individuals especially as a way to run away from a stressful environment and to take a break from work. But no one can deny the fact that most travel packages are expensive and require individuals to save money and plan carefully in order to be able to take that dream flight with their partners.

With the advancement of online purchase, and becoming as the most important method for anyone wanting to buy things online, most websites have introduced travel packages as items people can purchase. However, this does not mean these travel packages come for cheap.

Fortunately, a few years ago, online bidding has been introduced to the online users. Users get the chance to bid on any product online, and if the last bidder reaches the price of an auction and the auction closes, the last bidder wins that item. Travel packages are no exception.

The travelers of the 21st century have kept this technique as a secret to buy travel packages for a very cheap price. Imagine you being able to purchase a 4 day travel package with a hotel of your choice for as low as 20$. It is still a new concept and not very widely spread among the users. However, this technique is expanding and it is saving thousands of dollars on people wanting to explore the world for a few days.

Online bidding is becoming a trend due to the trust people are giving to online bidding websites. Even though some users are still afraid of bidding thinking that they might not reach a certain goal, most online users are taking the risk and are bidding and actually winning a certain auction.

Travel for cheap has never been a dream. It was not so common during the early years of online bidding, but nowadays, people have started to realize that with the huge number of users purchasing online, they need to take advantage of that. Online users should not be afraid of scam since most websites acquire world wide accreditation which proves the integrity of websites running online auctions.

Always do your research and don’t bid on websites that do not use secure connections and have low feedback reviews. If you win an auction and do not receive it, then you can always file a complaint to the right authorities. Travel for a very cheap price is real!

Cheap Deals on Plane Tickets – How to Get the Lowest Prices Possible on Airline Travel!

Many of the big companies who sell travel packages and things of that nature would like to have you believe that cheap deals on plane tickets are hard to come by. I am here to tell you that this could not be further from the truth, and if you know where to look then you can in fact get some amazing deals on airline tickets to any destination.

1. One of the first things that you can do is to see what flights are leaving at odd times. Many people want to fly at times that are easy for them, so if you can get a flight at a weird time then you may be able to negotiate with the airlines in order to get them to lower the price. This is a great method for getting some really quality deals at low prices.

2. In addition to this you can also contact the airlines directly. What this will enable you to do is get deals that they are not advertising to the general public. Often times the airlines will have deals via a hotline, but you must know when to call because these deals can sell out very quick. The best time to call is going to be right around midnight, because this is when the systems are most often updated.

3. By far the best method that I have found for getting cheap deals on plane tickets is to know someone in the business who can show you how. What I mean by this is that you need to find someone who is currently or previously working in the airline industry. Often times these people can show you some really great tips to get amazing deals that you would never be able to get otherwise.

Airline Choices For Cheap Flights to Australia

An abundance of promotions and special offers for cheap flights to Australia has made it much more affordable to vacation Down Under. Airfare to Australia, especially for travel in low season – the month of May and August through mid-September – is priced favorably compared to other long-haul destinations like Asia and eastern Europe.

Non-stop flights to Australia depart from Los Angeles and San Francisco. If you live in other parts of the US, you’ll have to first fly to California.

In the past few years, flights to Australia have increased as existing airlines added flights and new airlines began service on this route. This is good news for travelers – increased competition brought the prices of flights to Australia down.

When searching for the cheapest flights to Australia, you’ll find that airline consolidators usually have the lowest pricing. But, when the airlines are trying to fill the seats on their planes and offer a short-term special promotion, their prices can’t be beat. Always check pricing on the airlines that fly to Australia before buying your tickets.

Airlines that fly to Australia:

Qantas

Qantas, the airline of Australia, offers the largest aircraft and the most flights. With daily non-stop flights from Los Angeles and less frequent flights from San Francisco, Qantas flies non-stop to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Qantas offers code-share flights operated by American Airlines from many cities in the United States to connect to the flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Qantas’ website frequently features low season flight deals, promotions that include a “free” flight to a city within Australia, and special offers on the Aussie AirPass. If you are an American Airlines Aadvantage member, you can earn mileage points by flying to and within Australia on Qantas.

VAustralia

VAustralia, the newest addition to the Virgin Airlines Group, flies non-stop from Los Angeles to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Connecting flights are available from other US cities on Virgin America and Delta. VAustralia also offers a few flights that depart from San Francisco.

Their planes on the Australia route are new, custom decorated with an Australian theme and feature comfortable seating for the long flight. VAustralia’s website keeps up with the special offers Qantas has for cheap flights to Australia, but VAustralia does not offer specials for flight packages that include other destinations within Australia.

Delta Airlines

Delta began flying to Sydney in 2009. Shortly after they began service on this route, Delta entered a code-sharing agreement with the Virgin Airlines Group, VAustralia, for international flights, and its sister airline, VirginBlue, for domestic flights within Australia.

Delta SkyMiles members with Club access can use VirginBlue’s luxurious airport lounges when traveling within Australia on VirginBlue or internationally on Delta or VAustralia.

United Airlines

United flies to Sydney from Los Angles and San Francisco, with connections from other cities in the United States. Infrequently United’s website will promote specials sales on these flights. United does not fly within Australia.

Other Airlines

Air New Zealand flies from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Australia, but the flights stop in Auckland first. This adds several hours to the total flight time to Australia. Their pricing is very competitive.

Several Asian airlines also offer multi-stop flights to Australia. These flights tend to be much more expensive than the non-stop flights on Qantas, VAustralia, Delta or United.

Flying East

Travelers, for whom airplane comfort and luxury is more important than price and a non-stop long-haul flight, should consider flying east to reach Australia. For the most part, flying east is more expensive – but you can combine a visit to Singapore (Singapore Air has a daily non-stop flight from Newark to Singapore) or Dubai (Emirates offers two daily non-stop flights from JFK and non-stop flights from Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco) with your vacation in Australia.

Cheap One Way Flights Guide – A Few Handy Tips for Finding Inexpensive Airfare

It can be very discouraging when you do a search for airfare and see nothing but expensive results that go beyond your budget. Even if you adjust the times a bit, there still might not be much of a difference. How do you go about getting a good deal? Where can you find cheap one way flights?

It's not true that roundtrip airfare is always cheaper than one-way airfare. Even if you have to return, it might be cheaper to go purchase two one-way tickets. Due to factors such as new pricing methods and cancellation fees, flyers now have more flexibility when booking airfare.

Pricing always varies by airline, tourist season, holidays, and so forth. A few discount carriers like Frontier, Allegiant, JetBlue, Norwegian Air, Air Lingus, and Spirit are always worth looking into.

Here are a few other tips for finding cheap one way flights:

• Keep in mind that some days are cheaper to fly than others. Even if your dates are already set in stone and can not be changed, you still might want to check out airfare for a day earlier than you are expected to arrive and sleep in a hostel or budget hotel.

• Consider mixing and matching airlines. Some discount travel sites offer a "mix and match" category that allows you to combine two one-way fares. There's no rule that says you have to return with the same airline that you left with.

• Fly or drive to another airport. If it's simply not possible to be flexible with the dates, try to be flexible with the airports. Check and see if there are other airports near the origin or destination. The more options you have, the more savings opportunities there might be. Or will it simply be cheaper to fly to another city and then flying to your destination city from there?

• No matter where you want to go or what dates you plan to travel on, always buy the fare in as early as advance as possible. Do not put it off. While last-minute deals can sometimes be found, it's not a good idea to risk it. On smaller carriers, it's best to book no later than 7 days in advance. For the larger airlines, order at least two weeks in advance.

• Let technology do all the work for you. There are plenty of apps, tools, and aggregator search engine services dedicated to bring you the lowest prices on all aspects of travel. Let the tools search for cheap one way flights and send you an instant notification a good deal is made available that is within your budget range.

In Conclusion

Online promo codes, apps, aggregated search tools, etc. all make finding cheap one way flights a simple process. You can easily find and receive flight options from literally hundreds of different airlines to thousands of destinations.

As mentioned, sometimes you may forget the budget and overspend on the hotel, so stick to your budget. To do this, first decide how much you wish to spend. Second, decide what conveniences, comforts, and other variables you need from your accommodation. Such consideration will help you plan your budget and stick to it.

Be Flexible

If your schedule can allow it, travel for your vacation during off-seasons. During such time, the hotel prices are reduced. You will not only save money, but you will also avoid the competitive crowds. You can also book a hotel on weekdays rather than weekends.

Bundle It

You will save money on hotels by bundling travel essentials when you go on vacation. Using websites such as Expedia, you can acquire a hotel reservation, cheap airfare, and a rental car in a package, helping you save much money. Include the reward program information on your website profile.

Consider a Hotel Credit Card Offer

Most chain hotels have free rewards programs. You accumulate points if you shop with the hotel's partner company or book hotel rooms. You can use the points for a free hotel stay, therefore, saving money.

Look out for Deals and Coupon s

An online search for coupons can help you save money. Such coupons carry deals and discounts. Sign up for money-saving sites such as Living Social and Groupon that allow you to see the city page you are planning to tour. Look for reduced prices for resort and hotels packages on a daily basis. You may find coupons at train or bus stations, airports, tourist attractions and rental car companies.

Consider a Hotel Credit Card Offer

Some hotels have credit cards associated with hotel rewards programs that you should check out. You receive points when you charge purchases to the card, and you can earn a free hotel stay. You may earn double points if you use your credit card at the affiliated hotel.

Final word
